Opinión de un comprador: What a beautiful radio! In person it is just as good-looking as the pictures show. I have read very favourable opiniones for the sound quality of this equipo and all products of roberts are highly regarded, so I bought this little equipo with confidence.
Owning a tiny Sangean WR-7 and an even tinier Muzen wood radio I was looking for a well-built retro compact radio that is a bit bigger and with it a bigger sound and one that is not dependant on charging a non-replaceable battery. DAB radio is a plus, just for those occasions FM is too noisy.
This radio is very easy to use, I didn't need to read the manual at all, DAB reception is good, although I need to use the antenna to receive the Dutch Radio 4 (classical music). Blue tooth, although it initially took a long time for my iPhone to find Rambler's signal, works just fine. Build quality is as expected nice, although very light weight, I wasn't expecting that, the tiny Sangean feel more solid.
So everything is fine. .. Except for the sound that is. This Rambler is three times the size of the Sangean WR-7 but the sound of the Sangean has at least three times more weight. And with weight I regalo't mean a simple bass boost, (Bose or Apple Home pods are not welcome in my house), I mean a solid well balanced, well defined and grounded sound. This Rambler doesn't sound tinny, not at all, but it completely lacks bass, there is not even a hint of lows or any warmth. It lacks soul and depth. With the Sangean and a lesser degree the Muzen, you're not listening to a speaker, the sound flows, it projects very well. With the Rambler I am listening to the sound of what appears to be a poorly dampened speaker unit, a somewhat hollow sound. I assume only the side plates are made of wood? Not saying it objectively has poor sound quality, not at all, the sound is very clean and it goes loud without distortion. But for music it is too thin sounding, everyhting from cello to bassoon lacks body. Is this equipo perhaps exclusively made for the spoken word? Listening News radio or a radio play will be superb with this radio, I guess.
I had confidently bought this radio to keep, not to try. (I had to buy a UK to Euro plug to use the sonoro adapter) What a shame, I didn't expect the equipo to sound like it does.

Cependant, les boutons sont parfois un peu capricieux, ce qui m'inquiète pour la suite (il faut appuyer plusieurs fois sur le bouton off pour qu'elle s'éteigne finalement), l'antenne est un long fil qui pend, un peu dommage pour le look général. Et on ne peut pas passer d'une radio pré-programmée à aglutina autre facilement: Il faut aller dans le listo général/pré-réglages/selection pour sélectionner la radio pré-programmée de notre choix. C'est dommage.
Je suis également resté en mode langue anglaise, car il y a otorgues fautes d'orthographe énormes quand on passe en français: Exemple "volyme" au lieu de "volume". C'est quand même étonnant et assez dommage pour une radio qui coute quand même ciento cincuenta€ (! !)

Opinión de un comprador: I bought this radio to listen to Radio4 in the bathroom of a morning.
So my requirements was something with excellent battery life, good sound quality for a medium sized room and would be nice to be able to play podcasts over bluetooth when I fancy a wallow in the bath.
So as is traditional, I'll lead with my Pros:
1) I knew it was 'small', but I was quite taken aback by how small it actually was. It's exceptionally cute and feels very well made. Feels like a small pleather brick in your hand.
2) Sounds amazing. Rich, but balanced. That "Bass radiator" isn't just marketing - sounds way better than the Sony its replaced, despite that having a speaker at least twice the diameter.
3) Battery life is indeed great.
My Cons (not deal-breakers, but every possible annoyance I could think of):
1) As has been mentioned by others, "the controls are wrong". I'd have liked the wheel click to turn on/off and turning it to adjust the volume (or cycle through pre-escenarios). Then leave the buttons around it to secondary uses like changing the station, saving pre-juegos etc.
Instead volume and power are on the buttons around the dial. I'm never going to use the part of the UI that actually feels nice and tactile.
2) But maybe I'm not the objetivo usuario, maybe they were targeting the user that likes flicking between their favourite Radio stations?
Again - they failed. Spinning the dial does let you choose Radio stations, but presents a long list of *all* stations. You can pack presets for the stations that you like, but to find them you have to hold (not push) the dial button down, then click again to choose preset option, then scroll through your preset and click to select it. Opinión de un comprador: No se ha podido cargar contenido multimedia.  Having had roberts radios in all my families homes, and mine all my life, this was a product you can always trust. Like ability, timeless, easy to use and great sound.
I was really looking forward to receiving the newest edition to the Roberts brand… the Roberts Rambler “ mini”
However, this is a very mixed review.
On opening and getting the mini out, it was slightly bigger than I was expecting, it is small, but not really tiny, so far I am happy as the radio can go anywhere in my home, plus not heavy to lift.
This equipo is a mini DAB/FM bluetooth in several colours, I chose the duck egg colour.
Currently priced at £99.99 at opiniones.
So the equipo mini offers Bluetooth streaming
Rechargeable battery
Impressive sound, that is what I read.
The mini comes with a USB lead to plug in the USB-C cable to charge, once charged up, works through the battery in which is inside the device, so cannot be decid.
Now I am someone that has grew up with Roberts, so I do know a bit about them.
This “mini” with the huge price tag has been a let down from the onset. .
Whether I look on this sellers page, or Roberts main página web page or even googling does not give requiera information or instruction. In fact I will go as far to say appalling. In the box I was looking for the corriente pack de up, there is a pamphlet on 2 and regalo'ts. I couldn’t find the instructions, but then spied a piece of cardboard, yes cardboard with the most hideous and tacky instructions I have ever seen. I needed a magnifying glass to see the instructions however that was difficult because the cardboard and writing/ images so hardly visible. So completely off to a bad start, I searched every which way I could and even on a video search could not find the Rambler mini to help me.
Anyway I put in the USB, to turn on press in the asalto knob and the equipo comes on.
At some point it will flash up Bluetooth, unless you wish to take advantage of Bluetooth, avoid it like the plague if you just want to use as a equipo. The Bluetooth is a nightmare. Thinking Bluetooth would enhance my experience not just to play my tunes, but the overall equipo crispness I rigged it to my mobile… once I did this, the equipo had disappeared. On the front preface you can go through the arrows and it gives an option to disregard Bluetooth, I even omitted Bluetooth from my mobile, but it would not disappear whichever button I pressed.
In the end I cannot even tell you how I did remove Bluetooth it was the case of two hours pressing buttons, turning on and off and something I did do decid it.
So I listen to Equipo 2, and a few other stations, a fairly sencillo process to get the best signal, having found R2, I pressed the heart and the middle dot in between the left and right arrow to save on number one. Then continued to complete that cycle until I have four equipo station presets. When I went back to go through them all, R2 was playing on them all, so several times I had to redo the saving, even though on the ranking it does state the stations are saved!
Please remember I am trying to use the equipo without proper instructions, or should I say no instructions that make sense and certainly not easy instructions to follow. This is a mini radio that should be fácil. Leave out the Bluetooth and yes the sound is really good for a mini, the volume is good and can go quite loud without loosing observación, no interference. I have no iniciativa how to pack the current date as preset to January the first, with my other Roberts Hifi, the date and time came on automatically and correct.
As a lot of products nowadays for example British bull dog DM boots were excelente before letting china ruin the reputation, similar process here, Roberts are born and bred in the Uk, however like other companies keep the British good name, but enlist Asia to make these radios at a cheaper cost effective price. It isn’t cost effective though is it when the British name is compromised in this way. For me this isn’t working as the gorgeous real wood design that Roberts are renowned for, have been replaced very cheaply.
The aerial is decent, and mineral, so in my home works very well
I feel sad because the equipo sound I feel is very good but let down badly, ie, Bluetooth, lack of/ no point by point instructions especially those I received on crinkle cardboard. .
Please Roberts go back to being a company with products made here in the UK, because your reputation was once first class, and by this radios estándar and cheapness does not warrant this humongous price tag.
So for me, I can only give three stars. .
1* for good sound and volume
2* for the nice petit size.
3* Good aerial
I very rarely leave reviews like this, however this is purely my experience at the time of my review.

Opinión de un comprador: Recibe de forma automática las primeras cincuenta emisoras que encuentra en el dial, no puedes conectar de forma guía y, por tanto, es posible que haya emisoras que no reciba nunca pues cuando recibe cincuenta emisoras está dejando de investigar. En mi coyuntura, en La villa de madrid, sólo recibe hasta el dial 99,5FM, desde allí dejaba de investigar porque ya habia agotado las cincuenta emisoras que puede recibir.

Opinión de un comprador: Compared to the much bigger regular rambler bt, the rambler mini has a far better sound for it's size and due to it's lightweight design (cuatrocientos sesenta gramms) and inbuilt battery it is truely portable. Well, regalo't expect too much from the sound though, it is a very small mono-radio. I like the excellent retro-design and the fact that you regalo't need a powercable for most of the time. The USB-C cable even fits into my móvil.
The price tag - like any roberts product - is quite high at cien gbp and if you care about big sound: Go for a bt-speaker instead! But if you want a versatile

I've always had roberts radios and have a small collection from the 70's and 80's all in mint condition. I've always bought Pure for DAB and this was bought to replace a Pop Maxi, which had given up after nearly diez mil hours of use. Out of the box it's obviously a Roberts and reminds me of a retro-modern version of the RFM3. Pack-up as with all DAB radios' is very straight forward; you basically plug it in a turn it on. However, although having the screen on ranking may improve aesthetics, it also impedes the functionality with more limited menu options. I'm still trying to work out the presets, which trabajen't as intuitive as my Pure sets. I currently have the same station on two and there's nothing in the instructions to explain how to override this. I won't use the alarm or timer functions, but can sospeché they would be equally as confusing.
Sound-wise this is a big improvement over the Pop Maxi, which despite being a stereo model had quite a flat sound. This Rambler is much livelier although it doesn't doesn't offer much stereo separation. Build quality is nice in comparison to the Pure, which is basically a plastic box.
Overall I'm happy with it and can see no issues with using it for up to 8 hours a day. My only enfriamiento is the cost. For the same money you can find a fully restored Pirata Hunter, which is a concreto equipo with a soul and not just a box of circuits.
